My music career started in Switzerland where I played with several original acts including Ethica and Drama. I moved to Boston in 1999 to attend Berklee College of Music where I gained a degree in Bass performance and Contemporary Writing and Production. Throughout my 4 years at Berklee I had the pleasure to play and record with many talented artists, including Joe Faulder, Natalie Stoval and Tiff Jimber. After graduation, in 2003 I moved to Chicago. Since then I had the chance to work with several local songwriters and recording artists, including the grammy nominated Liquid Soul. I'm currently touring with Think Floyd USA - The American Pink Floyd Show which offers a fully staged rendition of the classics of Pink Floyd. I also perform regularly with other local and national acts such as ABBA Salute (ABBA Tribute), Pianoman (Billy Joel & Elton John Tribute), Roundeye (Punk-Pop), The Illustrated (Alt-Pop) and Micki Croissant (Folk). My musical tastes are pretty broad, from the Beatles to Iron Maiden, Bill Evans, Pink Floyd, Dream Theater, Tori Amos, Nickel Creek, Loreena McKennitt, Miles, Springsteen and on and on ... I have experience in arranging and composing for strings, horns, voice, rhythm section and full orchestra. I’ve been involved with countless projects, spanning all styles. I have arranged, recorded, played, conducted & produced everything from radio and tv jingles to movie and documentary scores as well as jazz, funk, rock, r&b and big band charts. I’ve been teaching bass and theory for the past 10 years.
